GSL Overview
Description
This video provides an overview of NOAA’s Global Systems Laboratory (GSL) research. From public safety to industry and the economy, the work of GSL touches everyone. Models and visualizations from across the GSL Divisions are included along with other supporting graphics in this quick introduction.
Technical Backstory
The 2021 GSL Lab Review was held in May 2021. This video was created to give the review panel and attendees a quick introduction to GSL. The GSL Visualization team crafted the script, collected graphics and visualizations, created new visualizations where needed, and compiled the media into a cohesive story. An AfterEffects template was used as a starting point, but many modifications were made along the way to end up with a unique video that fit the needs of GSL.
