Stephanie Hoekstra

Stephanie Hoekstra is a researcher in the Decision Support Research and Evaluation (DSRE) Branch within the Global Systems Laboratory’s Weather Informatics and Decision Support (WIDS) Division. Prior to GSL, Stephanie worked in the Weather Program Office on the transition of research into operations, as well as in academics at UCLA. Her work focuses on partner decision-making, risk perceptions, and hazard communication, along with improving weather products based on user feedback.
